100 Greatest Stand-Ups 2010 (Next Friday)

The problem with these things is that if they are asking the public then I would guess that a majority will just plumb for their current favourite.
e.g. McIntyre, Manford, Bishop etc.

And it is also very UK centric. As another poster pointed out an similar US list had many that us Brits would never had heard of. So the title the Greatest Stand-Ups from a UK perspective may be more apt :D

I'm still not sure how it was voted for as the explanation on the website was still pretty ambiguous.

Im surprised Dara O-Brien wasn't on the list??? He is very good stand up, and Mock the Week has defniately raised his profile.

Other acts I would have liked to have seen on the list but not surprised they weren't:

Marcus Brigstocke
Milton Jones
Stewart Francis
Flight of the Conchords (though they're a double act so I pressume thats why they were left off)

It took you this long to realise how silly this list is? :p

Hmm Shappi was being really condescending about him there.

Yep I seen Relentless at least twice. I'm not actually sure I heard Flying Saucers, all of the stuff I have seen of Hicks is from youtube and the internet I still have to get the cd's etc. Thankfully there's a lot out there though.

Just done a bit of checking, is flying saucers a compilation, I have probably heard all or nearly all of the material on it then.
