100 Bullets+Timm/Dini = Animated Classic

This could easily be addressed in the Comics sections but this also fits into the general animation section. If you are familiar with "100 Bullets" you may agree that it is one of the best comic book series in the best 15-20 years. As we know Paul Dini and Bruce Timm are perhaps the best animated team ever. Now as I was reading through one of the old 100 Bullets TPB and I was watching JLU it occurred to me that a 100 Bullets cartoon created by Dini/Timm would be an animated classic. I mean it would have to be on something like Adult Swim for it to work. But even then I don't know if that outlet would allow the creators to get away with the stories of 100 Bullets. It probably have to be on something like HBO for it to be a success. What do you guys think?
 
I read a half-dozen of the original 100 Bullets issues. The story idea was interesting. I would try watching an animated version.

I've never seen anything by Timm / Dini other than DC superhero stuff but I don't see why they wouldn't be good at 100 Bullets, too. I think just about anybody could do a good job if they followed the original material, though.
