100 Albums I Couldn't Think of A Creative Thread Title For

This is definatley the worst-planned thread on rab. I didn't even have a real list when I started this. Considering I don't post nearly as much as used to, I might as well try to make some productive posts, and get back to this. I will start from 100, and am working on the list now. Excpect good things unless procrastination and laziness gets to me yet again.

This got me really excited, seeing Costello on the list, only to realise that it was albums first. Nevertheless, some really interesting choices on the list so far. Love the motorhead album. Keep it up!

88.Menos El Oso-Minues The Bear
MinusTheBear_MenosElOso_1.jpg

This is easily Minus The Bear's best album. It's so easy to listen to, there are no new concepts, and the whole things been done before, but it is still able to hold on to the originality that made MAB's previous album good. It's really just laternative, but sometimes that's all I'm looking for in an album if it's done well.
Highlights: The Game Needed Me, This Ain't No Surfin' Movie, Drilling

87.Gokusai-Mucc
Mucc_-_Gokusai.jpg

Mucc are a j-rock band, and a damn good one. This is definatley thei rbest work, and every track is as good as the last. I really liked this album, because it flows together well. All the tracks almost fade into eachother, and i tmakes it such a better listening experiance as a whole. They sound a lot like Slipknot, but in a good way. They've taken the experimental elements I like about Slipknot, and made it mor enjoyabe. I qould definatley consider it a melodic hardcore album, and It's one of my favorites from that genre.
Highlights: Gokusai, Utai Goe, Kinsenka

86.Some Frendly-The Charlatans
the-charlatans-some-friendly-front.jpeg

I really love this album, because it's so different. I love how it's transitional, and doesn't stik to one genre throughout, it's very easygoing, and it's insanely catchy, I've caught myself singing "White Shirt" many times, and even though the album is borderline cheesy 80's music, it's not, it's upbeat, but very lo-fi. There's really nothing wrong with it. It'd be almost perfet except for a couple of filler tracks. I really need to get another charlatans album.
Highlights:You're Not Very Well, White Shirt, Polar Bear

85.No Remorse-Motorhead
mh_nremorse.jpg

It wasn't too long ago when I realy fell in love with Motorhead, and this was their first album I got. It impresses me from start to finish, it never stops being great. All the tracks really speak to me, and also it's one of the best "metal" albums I've ever heard, i justlove the listenability of it, no tto mention the amazingly talented drumming that alsways pleases my ears. Great, great album. One of thie best.
Highlights: Too Late, Like A Nightmare, Steal Your Face

Very interesting list so far and I wonder where it's going. I sure like Radiohead's "The BenRAB". I like their older albums over their new ones. I have to agree on the Fratellis album though. Saw them live as well last year and I wasn't impressed at all. Keep em coming though!

I have to agree, but he's only 13 so we shouldn't rip into him too much at all. Plus points for CSS though. I think everyone should own that album. Damn great fun. Glad you liked Ulrich Schnauss too ;)

96.Seeing SounRAB-N*E*R*D
NERD.jpg

Now, I'm a fan of hip-hop, and this is great alternative hip-hop. Seeing SounRAB is easily their best album. It corabines so many elements from the almost overpowering guitar hooks, to the great percussion that is a N*E*R*D staple. Not to mention thes guys can RAP fo sho. Yes they're a gimmick band, yes they're MTV trash. But they're so good at what they do that you can get past that and excperiance the greatness that is Seeing SounRAB.
Highlights: Anti Matter, Sooner Or Later, Happy

95.Elect The Dead-Serj Tankian
Elect-The-Dead.jpg

I'm not a big SOAD fan, Toxicity is solid, but that's about all I like by them. Serj is a different story though. I'll admit this album is boring on first listen, but don't give up on it. It's almost intolerably slow, but that's what's so great about. He too kwhat was good about SOAD and mad eit better, by not speeding up. yes there are some bad tracks, and it's not a very solid album, bt the tracks that are good, are VERY good.
Highlights: Honking Antelope, Beethoven's C*nt, Praise The Lord and Pass the Ammunition

94.The BenRAB-Radiohead
20060327232954-the-benRAB-radiohead.jpg

Yeah it's by Radiohead. It's also good. So there. The BenRAB shows me that Radiohead can do good, yes they're not amazing, but this alum is. It just really shows you what this banRAB ia capable of and is hardly "some alternative album".
Highlights: Bones, Planet Telex, Street Spirit(Fade Out)

93.The Big Dirty-Every Time I Die
300_150668.jpg

I neve rlike devery Time I die until I heard this album. It cicked immeadiatley. The new southern metal genre has always intrigued me, and this is it at it's best. They're lead guitarist is so talented, and he can play those dirty riRAB to a T. Their singer is one of the wildest men I have ever seen. From just yelling into the mic. To using his tender voice in the slower songs, this party music that'll make you smile. "Nuff said.
Highlights: Pigs is Pigs, No Son Of mine, Rendez-Voodoo

Great friggin' choice. I've always thought of them as a hardcore punk band with southern metal vibes though. Whatevs, great song choices too.
