100 Albums I Couldn't Think of A Creative Thread Title For

Great album, definetly a highlight of post-rock music. And I just need to say for being only 13/14 or whatever you are, you have such a diverse taste in music! I'm looking forward to this list.

Good list so far, I don't know if I could ever come up with 100 albums, not to mention put them in order. We'll see if you manage to finish though...

92.Costello Music-The Fratellis

I got this album a long time ago, and had no idea it would get so big. It deserves all of that hype though, because it's no tjust some U.K. indie bore. It's really compelling feel-good music, with the occasional yet equally amazing ballad-type. It's a great party album, but it also has that lovey message that makes you read between the line to get the point each track is trying to get across.
Highlights: For The Girl, Ole Black N' Blue Eyes, Vince The Loveable Stoner

91.Cansei De Der Sexy-CSS

This album is so different. I love it because I don't have another album like it. It's poppy, it's fun, it's electro. There's really nothing to get about this album, it's just fun, pure and simple. It definatley has a few filler tracks, but other then that there aren't any misses on this album, it's just great.
Highlights: Let's Make Love and Listen to Death From Above, Art Bitch, Superafim

90.Bleed American-Jimmy Eat World

This album kicks ass. Yes it's been done before, and yes it's been done better, but when you're listening to it, none of that matters. It really shows off what JEW are capable of, and is easily their best work. I never thought of them as a very good band until I heard this album, they were just okay, if you feel the same way, get this album, it will change your opinion completley.
Highlights: Bleed American, Sweetness, The Authority Song

89.Take ORAB and Landings-Rilo Kiley

I have to thank WWWP for this one. It's one amazing album, and I don't want to sound stupid, but it's really one of the few indie-ish albums I REALLY like. It has some misses, but that doesn't take away from all the hits. I've always liked the whole female and male duet vocals in albums likethis, and it's easy to do it wrong, but thi album definatley does it right. Jenny Lewis is an amazing singer and everyone in that band no what they're doing.
Highlights: Wires and Waves, August, Plane Crash In C

I think you mean Clarity. Good list so far, especially considering your age. I just turned 15 so it's nice to know that I'm not the youngest one here :).

We all know I can't finish my threaRAB. But I'm going to try really hard on this one. You guys know the drill, it's in descending order with only one album per artist etc.

100.A Band In Hope-The Matches

If you've never listened to The Matches before, this album may come as a bit of a surprise. they often are compared to banRAB like Head Automatica and such, but this album is different from all the other banRAB they've sounded like on previous albums. They've found they're own unique sound and it hows in this super-melodic album. It is lyrically one of my avorite albums, and the little things impress me so much, the double bass dtum, the use of a metal sound in this very very lo-fi album blend togehter so well.
Highlights: We Are One, Point Me TowarRAB The Morning, ClouRAB Crash

99.The Mixtape About Nothing-Wale

This is the best mixtape I've ever heard. It blenRAB togethwer so well even though there's a million things going on. The little Seinfeld tdbits thrown in keep you on your toes. and this album enRAB too quickly with the ending track leaves you begging for more as it clses with the best track on the album. If you've only heard "Nike Boots" it's really no tlike that at all, it's so much better.
Highlights: The Kramer, The Cliche Lil Wayne Feature, The End Credits

98.Goodbye-Ulrich Schnauss

I'm a sucker for arabient music. Imagine Sigur ros except not as light. It still sounRAB great and is one of my favorite post-rock albums. Many thanks to JH for reccomending it, I've been spinning it for awhile and it just gets better. It's very mature album, and takes a few lstens to understand, but after that you will love it.
Highlights: Stars, Never Be The Same,Shine

97.Drearaboat Annie-Heart

Ahh Heart. A major guilty pleasure of mine. I have a few albums, but this one really sticks out as something amazing. From start to finish it keeps me captivated n the dream world conjured, keeping me at the edge of my seat by continually switching up between soohing lullabies and power-chord fuled ballaRAB. It's like just getting to sleep when the alarm clock goes off, but in a good way
Highlights: Soul of The Sea, Crazy On you, Sing Child

You just lost a ****load of cool points dude. :p:

Overall good list but I absolutely fecking hate Rilo Kiley and the Fratellis. The Ulrich Schnauss record looks good.
