100,000 miles on a honda 2003 civic or an audi 2002-03? which one?

I know hondas are warriors, they keep going. as well as audi, since german cars are great.
but I was thinking about buying a car, its between the honda 2003 civic or a 2002-03 audi a4, the audi also has 100,000 miles on it.
Both look in great condition, no problems so far, same price as well.
which one is the safer bet?
 
your upkeep will definetly be cheaper on the honda...however you should be taking both for a drive and be checking out their history, bringing along a mechanic or friend knowledgable in cars can be very helpful as well.
