10 weeks post op L4-S1 fusion

Hello fellow spinal frienRAB. I'm 42 and in pretty good shape. I am now 10 weeks post op and a little frustrated. It seems I'v been doing fairly well as far as healing and pain. After 6 weeks, I felt much improvement, but it seems the improvement has not gotten any better since then My question is, is this normal?
Am I still healing and therefore still having some pain? It's not a sharp kind of pain but more like a dull aching pain only in the lower back region. Thx guys and better health.:)

You are WAY early in the recovery process! You should be experiencing pain daily... as you increase activity you will have an increase in pain. I'm around 14 weeks post L3-S1 and I experience some kind of pain every day depending on what I'm doing. It's not that you should be in constant pain but some pain is to be expected.

I have a lot of dull aching pain and I think it's where the hardware is at either L5 or S1. I believe it's bone pain where the hardware and bone are merging together.
