I got a printer, its plugged in, but I cant install it as a I dont have the installation disc. So i've been told to go on the brother website and download the driver installation disc

Can someone please explain what the instructions say to do? I dont get them:
HOW TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL:
1) Please make a temporary directory on your HDD to save the downloaded self-extracting file. e.g.. C:\bront
2) Start downloading.
3) Once downloading is complete, double click on the downloaded file to extract it.
4) Double click "SETUP.EXE" file in the following directory:
XXXXXXXX \install\YYY\inst\setup.exe
5)**At "XXXXX", a language name will be located. It varies on the language.
6) ** At "YYY", a country name will be located in 3 letters. It varies on the country.
7)The installation will start. Please follow the installation screen directions
Cause what i'm doing (wrong) is like I click download, and I just save it in documents and then it downloads. Then i do what it says and go into my docs and open the file and it comes up with this wierd box thing saying all this crap about unzipping the file and I just dont get itttt :S
PLEASE HELP.
