10 gallon fish tank question?

i have a 10 gallon fish tank with three red glass barbs.
1 male
2 female

every day when i leave my house and their home alone, i come home to find out that they have dug a hole in the sand all the way to the bottom of the tank to the glass. i really didnt think much of it but in the hole are small white particles which look like tiny eggs. are they? they do this daily and im not sure if they are eggs or not. help?

well you do have two girls. I think they bred and your looking at their nest. Ask a petsmart worker. they should know.
