10 days late and 6 negative tests?

I am really new to this.. so please help!! I ALWAYS get my period on time. I am now 10 days late and I have taken 6 home pregnancy tests and they have all come back negative. I have been having bad headaches everyday I am cramping like I am going to start my period but nothing ever happens. Also, my husband says I am having very bad mood swings. I unfortunately do not have insurance right now. I quit the company where we had our insurance and it is not open enrollment at my husbands job... this makes me very scared! I have never been without! I don't know if I should go to planned parenthood or another clinic. I have read read online about false negatives... Any suggestions on what i should do?? I am really concerned as I am leaving for a cruise with my parents on Friday.. YIKES
 
Take a deep breath.

There are a lot of reasons why a woman can miss a period - or why her period can vary substantially. Have you been under a lot of other stress recently? Working out a lot? A new roommate? Double-check the information on the pregnancy tests, and if they're supposed to be valid this early, go on your cruise and relax!
 
When I was pregnant with both of my kids, the tests came back negative and I had to go get a blood test, maybe you should do the same
 
UMM, yes u should go to a clinic if u have taken 6 home tests already! Planned Parenthood and even the health department for little to nothing. Don't waste any more money on HPT's...go get a blood test.
 
Firstly there is no reason to test six times in 10 days, take a test and a week or so later take another, and if you had sexual intercourse close to your starting date you may be to early to tell, give it some time. But I warn you if you go on a cruise and its a couple weeks long, you may be in for alot of vomiting and it just may not be the boat ;) Try and relax if you are pregnant the baby isnt going anywhere, As well if you are still getting a negative after 6 tests i doubt its a false negative, you may very well be pregnant but too soon to tell as well, if there isnt enough horomone to pick up the pregnancy I doubt you are experiencing any "pregnancy" symptoms. u need to go to the dr plz u my b prego or u may just be late bc of the stress from thinking ur prego ok
 
He does not need open enrollment to add his wife. At least, he shouldn't, from what I have heard.
Try that...if it does not work and you cannot go to a doctor, go to PP.
HAve you had any stress in your life? Are you taking any bc pill? That can do it, too.
 
I think you should stop buying pregnancy tests and save your money. You're stressing yourself out, which often makes your period not come. I don't think you can have 6 false negatives. I don't think you're pregnant. Try to stop thinking about it, and stop taking tests. You'd be surprised how much power your mind has over your body.
