10,000 bc

I did have to laugh at that image though. It's supposed to be 10,000 BC and she has her eye brows plucked into shape and hair in tight dreadlocks.

Couldn't see a topic for the movie release. Was fun enough, I quite like movies that try to recapture epics from the 50s etc.

The VoiceOver by Omar Sharif was incredibly irritating though. The film makes tons of liberties with history and goes against the archaeological record. It's probably the most historically inaccurate, doesn't makes sense geographically movie ever made. The sabre tooth tiger isn't paid off in my opinion. It was a rehash of Stargate. But for all those flaws, I still liked it.

I love Mark Kermode to death, but he can be a pompous dick sometimes when it comes to harmless fun like this.

After watching this the other day, I've come to the same conclusion as above. It's basically Stargate gone bad in my opinion. I had such high hopes after being impressed with the trailers, but this was such a big let down. I can only describe it as a watered down Apocalypto mixed with Stargate.
