1 year old whines when i get home?

myself and husband work each day 9-5. my one year old does not make a peep all day, playing happily, no whining/crying etc. within 2 minutes of us getting home the whining starts and doesn't stop until bedtime. i was off with my baby for 1 year she never whined with me then, it's only since i go all day and then come home... any suggestions????? pulease!!
 
Give her time to adjust to this transition. I would recommend spending quality one on one time for about an hour when you get home with her every day.
 
She is doing that for attension. She misses the time you guys spent together before returning to work. She will out grow it, I promise. To help think of a fun game to play right when you get home. My son liked the color game (find something green) or when they are younger the body parts game (where is your nose) it takes their mind off being upset and they start to look forward to you getting home to play a little game.

Sounds like she just misses you, and being so young she doesn't know any other way to express that emotion so she whines. Be sure you are giving her LOTS of quality time in the evenings and on weekends. Lots of kisses and cuddles, lots of playtime and attention. She'll adjust, it may just take a little time.
