1 POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST, 1 NEGATIVE?

i've been suspecting i'm pregnant since i'm supposed to be on my period right now, but only a nickel size of blood came.

yesterday night i took a pregnancy test at around 9 pm and it came out a faint positive. i had to have others look at it to make sure the plus sign was there because i didn't want to imagine it or anything, and it definitely was there. (clear blue test, not digital, regular) i was in disbelief and a little skeptical so this morning around 5:15 am i took another test because i heard it was more accurate to test in the morning, but this one came out negative.

why would i get a positive and negative result? am i really pregnant? why would the morning result be negative instead of the night time one i took?

i'm going to make a doctors appointment soon, but i'm impatient and want answers now. so if anyone would be so kind to help me i'd greatly appreciate it

I had the same thing happen to me. It's called a chemical pregnancy.

If you get a positive then it is almost always correct. The pregnancy hormone has been detected.

The negative means that you are no longer pregnant and that you should expect your period in a few days.

Apparently almost everybody has this happen a number of times in their lives. It's not a miscarriage, you weren't really pregnant, the body was just thinking about it and released the hormones, only to discover that the cell wasn't going to work.

Still, I can understand if you fell upset by the loss, I felt the same way when the positive went away. I've been trying for years to get pregnant.
