1 phone (pda phone) or 1 phone and 1 pda?

whats really better?

i'm currently using a p900 and will soon upgrade to a treo 650. the reason Im getting teh treo 650 is b/c i can make the 650 wifi-able. the p900 couldn't do it for me. it was a great phone and i loved palm os and everything it had. but i can surf the internet on the 650 (w/ the sled or hack)

but would it better for me to just buy a regular phone (maybe a razr, or some other small phone) and just buy a pda w/ wifi? (palm tx or any PPC)

obviously option 1 is all in one and option 2 will be 2 devices.

which is better for my money? thanks
 
ok i have a Axim X5 and a verizon VX6000 cam phone, both of these are first generations of there time, now im looking at replacing them but im stuck,

I have verizon service in new york city, i take the train everyday and working in mid-town

i just want your guys opinion

what im looking at is either
V3 or LG sidekick and the Dell Axim X51v

or the
XV6700 HTC apache

what do you think is better long term
im a heavy ppc user more so then phone, i hate cell phones really.
i mean the dell can run anything down the pipeline i see, ive seen it running quake 2 in open gl, and i dont use the phone alot, but i also dont want to carried around all this crap, the htc is dope with the Ev-do but i see it being unpowered and not being able to run apps in a year or so
