0bama is going on every news channel tomorrow except for FOX News, is it because

It is because he doesn't have the personal conviction in his plans to try and sell them to a less friendly audience. For him to go on every other Sunday program, including Univision, and skip Fox is ridiculous. Can you imagine if Reagan only talked to friendly media? He would never have been on tv. We would have thought we didn't have a President.

Well, to be facetious, his lord's day is Friday. He just can't face up to tough questions and thinks he has successfully marginalized Fox as dangerous tea partyers who cling to guns and religion. He also doesn't want us to see his real face, the one of resolute anger and childish demands. He's a spoiled brat, spoiled by Chicago politics and those who pampered him because they needed a quasi-Black candidate so they could call anyone racist who disagreed with him. Affirmative action helped spoil him too, as he enrolled as a foreign student.

lol, nice slam job, even if ineffective. Actually, you know as well as i do, if obama said "the sky is blue" on fox, you MAY believe him, but if he says it on msnbc, you will be all over him: "why does obama lie? I'ts cloudy where i live and the sky is grey". you know, that sort of thing. The whole world knows fox is biased and faux news will offer no constructive criticisms, but will continue to offer it's listeners/watchers nothing but whiny, immature tripe in an effort to gain political points.

LIke I remember any Fox News talking heads or Bush/Cheney neocons ever appearing on MSNBC.

What we see on Fox News, nearly 24 hours a day, are the same old tried and failed voices who backed or sat on their hands as Bush ran our economy into the ground tripling the national debt in just eight years, who never questioned, but supported Bush's ill-conceived, poorly executed and completely misread involvement in Iraq. We see extremist Boltin calling for a return to the Bush doctrine that isolated America even from its allies, we see Beck concocting conspiracies than any ten-year-old can see are missing any foundation for support, and we see Hannity ignoring facts that he would gladly use against Democrats, but which come from Republicans and so its not news.

Obama understands that the majority of Fox viewers, not all, are unreachable. They are as adverse to critical thinking and open minds as "I see communists everywhere" Senator Joseph McCarthy in the 1950's or racist Father Coughlin in the 1930's.

Instead, Obama will leave them on their island while trying to pick up some ground on the mainland.

It should not be surprising that Obama has lost some ground against such committed, albeit distorted, attacks. Yet, through it all, Obama has maintained the the high road, and though every now and then some crap is going to stick to the wall, I see no real movement in anything that really matters, such as the number of registered Republicans.

Independents are who Obama is reaching for, and I just don't see any Republicans out there soaking up a lot of Independents to their cause.
Or do you think Confederate Joe Wilson has that kind of appeal? Of course Americans are fed up with government. Especially Congress. But that reflects equally on both parties, not just Obama or democrats. When it comes time to cast votes, I don't see a lot of Independents turning the lever for the Republican side of the aisle.

He's a politician, he'll lie any day of the week and twice on Sunday. But I think there is some validity to the argument that he is following the old Mark Twain adage. Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies. He's only talking to people who won't ask any hard questions so he can twist and spin the discussion in the direction he wants it. If he had to face actual cross-examination, he'd be forced to commit in definitive language to things he knows are just not true.
