'09 Tire warranty question

Had my D407 replaced about 3 weeks ago at the 1000 mile check. I mentioned to the dealer that I had a D407 on the front and they replaced it with a D408, no questions asked.

Mine was also replaced with a 408 at the 10K service. Told the service manager about the noise and vibration issue (did not mention cupping as I've heard others be told that was due to improper inflation) and they checked it out a replaced the tire no problems.

D408 on mine. Told them I was concerned about the vibration, noise and it just didn't ride good. Replaced with no problems, washed the bike before giving it back.

The front tire on my '09 was replaced at the 1000 mile service with a D408.

Had the one on the RG replaced without too much drama. But replacing the one on the EG took a bit of pulling teeth. And that was 'after' they said they'd replace it next time I stopped by. Ultimately they mailed it down to me because I wasn't about to go back up for something they promised me earlier and to fix something they screwed up unrelated to the tire. Merely had to send them the old one.

I merely asked if my bike had the recall for the tire done yet. I had just purchased the bike a week earlier from a private party...The service guy looked on the computer and said nope..."that needs to be done right away"..Changed out with a d408 with not questions asked...mine had 5600 miles on it ...hope this helps
