09 Road King, Tranny oil leak???

I've been searching but haven't come up with anything, so...

My 09 Road King, (13,000 miles), has just in the last couple of days
started leaking oil from somewhere on the right side of the transmission.
At least it appears to be coming from there.

Just below the chrome right transmission side cover,
(that says "Six Speed"), there is a bracket bolted to the
tranny that the exhaust attaches to, and that appears to
be the source of the leak.

Anybody have any ideas if the two allen head bolts that hold
the bracket on to the transmission right there actually go through
into the inside of the case, and could allow an oil leak?

I'm stumped. Taking it in to the dealer Tuesday, but would love to
be able to figure it out for myself, with help from here...

Yep that's the reason. Common if not torqued well or blue locktite used.

Just tell the dealer to snug it up when you have it in on Tues. Unless you can get in there with the tool behind the exhaust pipe (pretty tight space there).

Arizona is right...I don't have anything to reach that spot at home, hopefully they will just kick down for you. That should solve it. Good luck, Sir.

same thing on mine, cut an old allen wrench down to fit between the pipes, snug it up good, check yer fluid and add if need , then let her warm up and tighten more before she cools. i took mine to the dealer later in the week to have them check the torque specs since it was still under warranty.

Gonna grind down an allen wrench a bit shorter and give it a little tightening, I'll also let the dealership have a go at it, just to be sure.

Thanks everybody for the suggestions. Gives me a little peace of mind now.
