08 Honda Nighthawk or 09 Kawasaki Ninja?

I'm a beginning biker looking to buy his first motorcycle, and I'm torn between either purchasing a 08 Honda Nighthawk or an 09 Kawasaki Ninja. I love the look of both, though I'm leaning more towards the Nighthawk because I'm into that sort of look. At the same time, performance and weight is also major in the decision; I know the Ninja is more highly rated and just overall loved even more, but that could be because the Nighthawk has a small following. Anyways, hoping there's some veteran riders out there that could help me with this. I'm kinda scrawny too and don't want to be overwhelmed by the weight.
 
So, what is the eight difference? 5-10 #. Weight is only a factor, the important part is the Center of Gravity, how high the bike carries the weight.
The night hawk is the 1 you want, so get that 1. Both are excellent bikes, but the Nighthawk is more insurance friendly, the Ninja makes insurance agents cringe, especially for beginners..
 
It all really depends on what kind of riding your gonna do. Personally i would get the ninja. I've got a kawasaki ZX6-R and i absolutly love it. The nighthawk would be comfortable if your do more highway riding or touring etc. but the ninja will be better in town and probably be more fun. I dont know if you were looking at the 250 ninja or not but i would advise against it. If you by i smaller bike like that your just gonna want something bigger in a year anyway. I'd say get a 600 because its still very light (around 350 pounds) but has more power than you could ever ask for.
