I agree, it's odd that somebody of such a rank is a Warspheil and that anything seems to be able to get through the barriers, I wonder how he became like that after he cared for Frau so much and seemed so loving, hopefully the Eye of Mikhail will wake up inside Teito and fight back, the Arch Bishop does look tough especially with that scar on his face, looks like he's been through the wars.
 
Great 5th episode, it would be nice to think Mikage some how escaped, but I doubt he could of and I doubt he was just allowed to leave too considering what was being said to him about his family, it was strange though how he was saying those things to Teito at night like he was going to leave soon, can't figure out whats going on there yet.
 
I'm not saying the first episode is like it at ALL.

Wait until you see some of the other episodes, though. There's a tiny reserablance, but not enough to matter.
 
I never heard about the manga before. But I checked it out and .. I guess the story would be interesting, I just didn't like the way they fight, I've always hated fights by what it seems to be magic.
 
I will check out the manga to be sure but I do have to say this is down to opinion. The reason I liked it is that I saw it as an anime in a similar genre to others I liked (D Gray Man) and I noticed parallels with such shows in it's outlook i.e. structure, theme and power set up. ^^
 
Episode 25

Was a good ending to S1, i wonder when S2 will come. He still has that collar on! So did he regain the Eye of Mikhail since it disintegrated?
 
I am not entirely sure if he regained the eye or not. I cant wait till they release another season of this show. It was great. The second season should have a ton more action than this one but I liked this show a lot.
 
I'm not so sure about this one any more. The character design reminRAB me a lot of Code Greass with a bit of Kuroshitsuji and Trinity Blood throne in. The feathers and uniforms in the opening were really reminiscent of Kuroshitsuji. If it too much like Code Greass or if many more effete collar wearing guys glomming on the lip gloss show up I'm bailing. The yaoi overtones in Kuroshitsuji nearly made be bail before the end.
 
Second episode was excellent and it became a little more clear to me why some people had compared this to D Gray Man, the aspect of 3 wishes for your soul does sound similar to the Earl's Akuma trick, but still there is plenty of difference between the two series.
 
Has there been any word on a season 2 yet, if not I'm moving onto the manga but if there has I will hold out for it, the whole series was awesome, one of my fav series now, the ending just opens up so many possibilities, Teito and Frau travelling together would be great to watch.
 
OMG ha ha ha ha I haven't watched all of it yet but that is some of the funniest stuff I have seen (read) in a while.
