I have a 2006 pontiac g6 sedan and its the base model. I drained my battery once so i have the mid grade battery from walmart and the stock alternator. I'm looking at getting 2 alpine type r 12's(2 ohm) and a hifonics brutus 1210d mono block amp. I already have a 3 farad capacitor in my car for my system now and I am going to keep that in there but change the wiring to 4 gauge. So my question is... Will the new amp destroy my battery and alternator or will it be fine?
