I have an 06 Lincoln Zephyr with 32k miles on it. I started hearing this little rattling noise about 2 wks ago. I only hear it when I'm barely pressing on the gas pedal, probably around 1500 rpm usually between 30 to 50mph. If i gas it harder, the rattling noise goes away or if I let go of the gas pedal it goes away but if I try to maintain my speed (maintain rpm level), the rattling noise comes back! It is bugging me to death, haven't taken it in to shop yet, wondering if I can fix it myself. Any help?!!
