anyone have a firing problem with the plug wire when you get mud or water around the plug. When I pull the wire off the plug and blow on it and put it back it fires fine. The plug is countersunk into the center(top) of the cylinder head.

You may need to replace the boot on the spark plug wire it may be dried out and not sealing good. Get yourself a can of silicon and spray all of the electrical connections.

Put some high temp grease round the plug cap before you fit it into the head to make a waterproof seal, then when you have fitted the cap back on give the cap/ht lead and coil pack a good spray with WD40 or Penol or duck oil. That should do the trick, works for me racing on the beach and on really wet tracks.
