2006 Boulevard C50. 4500 miles.

I put this in the mechanics corner but got no hits I'm hoping someone over hear can help me out.

Ok I have 10 maby 15 dropes worth of oil in the air box. It is comming down from the tube to the throttle body.
The filter is clean.

What do you think is causing it?

I'm up on all of the service, 600 mile and so on.
Thanks for your time....... Rocken

TaterDog I so hope your right. DrBob is saying about the same thing.

It was just so mouch. I have never seen this mouch in a air box before.

The throttle body was cleand only 3900 miles ago.

yeah it's normal and coming up from your crankcase. On my four wheeler I have to empty out the oil from my air box every few hours from all the crazy angles and jumping. It just forces the oil up into the air box along with the extra pressure it is releasing from the crankcase.

Thanks for all of your time. I'm going to just keep an eye in it for a while. If it came up from the crank it wood have had to do it as a mist. the tube from the crank has no sign of oil on it.

More than likely your okay, but if you can't sleep at night, just take it by the shop prior to the warranty expiring and have them check it out. Even if they don't find anything, you've gone on record of having the problem prior to warranty expiration. Depends on how concerned you really are about the issue.

I do not know TaderDog. The dealer did the last change at the 600Ml valve adjustment. I have put 100Ml's on it and will look in the air box and see if it has more oil in it. It is my hope that it is just mist up from the crank case.

I find it hard to see oil going aganist the air flow of the intake and making it to the air box.

Thanks for all of the help. I do love having someone to bounce things off of. It takes some of the stress of making a decsion.

Make Sure Your Oil Is Not Over Filled . You Must Check The Oil Leavel With Bike Staight Up And Down . Not On The Side Stand. Alson Make Sure Crackcase Breather Hose Are Not Pinced Or Kinked. This Will Cause Exsesive Crackcase Pressure. Good Luck

I was just in Target today getting some free reading at the magazine rack and there was an article in one of those American Iron type mags that talked about the same thing on the Harleys. I read that and was a little turned off by Harley's but now reading this maybe all the V twins are like this.
