I own a '03 Toyota Matrix, code 90420 Cat Effic Below Threshold B1
My check engine light came on, the code was 90420 Cat Effic Below Threshold B1, can anyone give me advise –is there a Federal Warranty? Also, can I buy a catalytic converter and have my mechanic install it. This is a very expensive repair!

The federal warranty states 8 yrs or 80,000 miles, I have 94,000 miles does that mean I'm not covered?
