I have a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L, 6 Cyl, 2WD.
Issue: When I put the truck on drive and I'm holding the break, a light rattling sound seems to be coming from the front of the truck. If i return it to Park, the engine goes back to it's smooth sound. This sound only seems to occur while on drive and holding the break (i.e. stopped at a red light). Once I accelerate the sound seems to minimize but I can't be sure, since I'm driving. If i put it on Neutral the sound goes away. Any suggestion or request for more information.
