I want to replace my stock deck with a aftermarket. But what in the world is going on with the wires. Its a old infinity stereo that came with the car, and i just found out that the car comes with a amp hiding under the Passenger seat. Is there any adapters that allow me to use the amp under the seat which controls speakers And hook up a amp and subs in the back without loosing any connections in my new after market player.

aftermarket amps will likely have speaker level or rca cables to get the music signal to the factory amp, this is what you need to find out.

so look at the back of the current deck and the factory amp, it should be easy enough to see what the amp gets it's signal from.

your aftermarket deck should have 3 pairs of rca outputs, front, rear and sub bass, or at least front and rear.
i would buy a connector for the deck that works with the cars factory wiring, should be the only thing you need to worry about is running an rca cable and turn on wire from the deck to the amp.
