po300 code for random misfire? have a po300 code for multiple cylinder misfires after replacing the gas cap from the dealer and air filter.got it checked frm auto zone due to a check engine light came on.
 
Sounds like a problem with your distributor. You need someone to check your timing.
 
sir, you need to spray the spark plug wires and plugs(engine running of course) and distributor cap with salt water, when you see or hear an arc, thats the bad wire or plug, if not it is the distributor cap.
