my jeeps stock fuel pump kept whinning really bad so i bought one used for $20, and after 3 days my jeep died. I then reconnected my old fuel pump and it runs fine. Then i bought a brand new fuel pump for $200 and then within 3 days it died. Reconnected the stock fuel pump and it works fine. So i figured that the fuel filter was bad and changed it (VERY DIRTY) and it ran fine for about a week or so. Then i put the brand new $200 fuel pump back on and in about 10 minutes it dies when on the road. I am very mad and very very confused. I test the fuel in the front of the motor when putting in each of the fuel pumps and with the ones i buy its as if the engine isnt getting enough gas, but wih the stock fuel pump it spits out plenty and runs fine. im asking this question because my stock fuel pump is whinning pretty badly and im pretty sure it might stop working, and when it does ? i dont know what to do.
