02 honda civic problems?

While driving, my car cut out and acted like it was out of gas. I put in a couple gallons and it will start, run for a couple seconds, shut down and then backfire. My fuel pump and is working i even used a pressure sensor, the next thing i was thinking was timing belt maybe? Is there a fuse or something that could have blown that would cause it to backfire everytime like that?
 
Check your fuel pump relay. It could be failing already and also to check for loose connection wiring in your fuel pump relay. Hope this helps!
