I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla and I just did the tune up less then 1K miles ago, anyways I took the car for inspection and it failed, the mechanic said it was not ready, that was because I had recently change the battery I have to retest again in a couple of days, but now the check engine light is on again after i did the tune up, is there a way to pass the test and get my sticker??
I took the car to autozone and they said that their scanner could not detect anything??
The first report show that: OBDII system failed also the Gas cap integrity.
So whats coming is it going to be expensive to get the car repair & ready to re-test?
I have a to get my car emission test done in 2 weeks or else pay $300. so I need to get rid of this check engine light, I need to pass. I'm in Texas by the way
