all the obvious has been done.. water pump and thermostat replaced.. block test.. fans are fine no leaks.. engine flushed.. sensor checked.. all fine.. im out of options and will take it to a dealer soon but before i do i want to know if its possible that an egr issue could cause a car to overheat.. my check engine light came on before the overheating issue started i had the code read and it was either p0403 or p0406 (cant remember which of them but i am positive its one of the 2) would either of these codes show anything that could make the car run hot?? also if there is a air leak in the vaccum system could this cause it?
