“Did God create humanity in ‘His own image’?

“Did God create humanity in ‘His own image’, or was our species itself the product of physical change and adaptation neither more nor less than the rocks, planets, and animals or this planets?” and what are the hallmarks of humanity?
 
You must choose what you would believe yourself. You can take the Bible and believe it's true or you can take science. Either way you must have faith in whatever you choose. (and if I might add, it takes a lot more faith to believe you came from a monkey than to believe in a Creator)

Science SAYS they've proven evolution to be true but yet other scientist have said those "proofs" are inaccurate. Simply a theory and nothing more.

I believe in a Creator and I know that takes faith and faith alone. But you have made one point. If we are no better than the animals or the rocks and plants, then what is our purpose? For in the end everything we've worked for. Everything we've built. Everything we've done is in vain. And though we may have helped some they too will fade away along w/ our name, and riches, and glory. So what is the true meaning of life?
 
even if humans 'evolved' from animals, there was a certain point where of made humans in his own image, no one knows exactly when in evolution, but he did
 
If God did create Humanity in his own image, God is one sick SOB.

I have to agree with Mark Twain when he said, "Man has never created a God that's as good as he is."

We are all part of God so no matter what our DNA says or how we evolved we are in God's image. DNA is the tool and evolution the process of his work.
What makes us "human" is our sense of our own mortality and the knowledge that we can shape our own destiny.
