ըlins 515 or TTX?

I am getting some new rear suspension with my FGRT 803's on my 848.

I was settled on the 515 until I found out that a TTX is only $300 more.

The question is: will I even notice a difference between the two I I mostly do aggressive street riding and intend on doing some track days in the next year?

Will I even notice a difference between the stock Showa and the 515?

Well, I'm kinda in the same boat with the shock. I had over 3K on mine before I troweled it.

I'm probably just going to go with the DU515 straight away, can't see just adjusting the OEM making that big of a difference.

Personally, I don't think you would notice much if anything between the 515 and the TTX but that's just me.

Yup. Know what you mean...

Here is what Dan Kyle emailed me this morning:

"I would go with the TTX, It comes with a hydraulic spring preload adjuster, that is a $400 part, It makes it so much easier to set spring preload, have you tried adjusting the stock shock?

And the resale value of the TTX will be better down the road.
If you ever want to go with the Track link in the future, you will need the TTX shock the DU515 will not work with it.

Just my 2 cents.

Dan"

Dude, Dan can do the TTX for $900, that should have an automatic no brainer!! I sold my Alpinestars Race Replica suit to get a Spidi GP Kangaroo so I'll have to keep squeezing as much as I can with the stock suspension for now.

Honestly, to get more bang for the buck, I wouldn't even bother with the FGRT 803's! The 30mm cartridges are soon to be release and would perform just as good and for far $!
