    Should the adage "Don't Discuss "Religion & Politics" be expanded to include Diet & Nutrition?

    Religion & Politics are so controversial that its often wise to not raise these subjects in social settings. What about including include Diet & Nutrition in the mix as well because people today are so adamant in their point of view e.g low fat, low carb, vegan, paleo, Atkins etc?
