    i used a flash drive and i dont know why it made a wierd code?

    so i typed a word 7 document and saved it to my flash drive. Then i tried opening it to my other computer which only has word 3 and it came up as a wierd code? yet when i opened another document typed on word 3 onto my word 7 computer it came up! help
