HTC Incredible S is advertised as having 768MB RAM, but when I look at the running apps page, I see 220MB used, 347MB free. That don't tally up with 768MB. Also if I add up all the running apps, I get 97.3MB. Am I missing something?

No OMAP 4 is going to bring that. There is no dual core phone CPU yet. But instructions per clock is said to twice as high on the ARM A8 Cortex. So that is what would make it twice as fast per clock cycle. Think about how a 2.2GHz Intel Core processor can beat a 4GHz Intel Pentium 4.
