How do you think that happened with the ribbon? Is it something that just happens over time with use or becuase it was dropped or what? Curious to know since I'm still using my N95-3 and would still like to keep using it.

You're right. With default theme the problem is gone. In fact the scrolling has been improved, dare I say, greatly. EDIT: Let me clarify, since I don't want people reading into this. I mean scrolling IN MESSAGING is improved on the TOP TAB BAR ONLY. Scrolling elsewhere in the phone SUCKS...
