It does to me, especially when I don't need to see it at all. I like to see all the text I'm working with. I don't want or need to make a second tap just to make the Select menu disappear.

I hope developers take away from this that we, the gamers, want to spend $60 bucks on something that lasts more than 6-10 hours not including multi player. R* gave us a huge single player game and awesome multi player.

Yes, that's exactly what happened. The VA had a LONG commute to LA to do the character and she didn't want to do it anymore...so they came up with the storyline to kill off the character and actually create a bunch of new story ideas for widower Flanders.
