This episode turned out better than I thought. It had some great hilarious moments that were memorable and fun. I especially liked the joke where Bart was threshing the manure and Pirates of the Carribean 3 came out. And the Tress MacNeille joke was so out there. Nice Episode.

Tenchi Muyo had plugs for Pioneer when characters are shown using electronics. Cowboy Bebop had a plug for Salem cigarettes in one of the TV episodes and for Coca-Cola in the movie.

Yeah, there was one song that the creator, Sam Kieth, considered really important to the show. I think it was on the TV version but they replaced it with something else on the VHS. Hopefully any DVD would faithfully replicate the TV version instead of the VHS.

I too am someone else who likes character development as a series progresses, but only in a serious vein. I mean, who really cares why the Brain wants to conquer the world? It's just fun to watch him try. But outside of comedy, what drives a character is usually the heart of the story...
