Yup, I've seen this on just about all the N97's I have or used. Unfortunately, something's always gotta give when it comes to the N-Series build quality. Granted, it's pretty minor though. I've noticed that the "E" and "Q" keys are the most affected by the backlight issue.

I just received an email from Amazon stating that my N86 has shipped.

I still have my 6650 as a back up to my e72. I find it a quite solid phone.

Apparently Fido, a Rogers brand here has already began testing the E71. I'm surprised to hear that, and these guys got the N95-4 before AT&T. Very very odd.

Keep us updated on how that thing works. I guess just watch to see if it's fully charged when the bars stop scrolling, and how long the charge takes. I've been eyeing these lately. Where'd you get it at?

Anybody get Nokia Maps 2.0 working for this? I'm able to install 1.2 (Nokia_Maps_1.2_0702_3.0.sis) but I get update error when I try to move to 2.0 (Nokia_Maps_2.0_4503_3.2_u.sis). (Sorry if this is a total S60 noob question.)

Y'know, that may be a problem, as I can't figure out how to do that! I open the Palm Desktop on my computer, and under 'Hotsync'-->'Options' there are four tabs (General, Local, Modem, Network), and nowhere do I see an option to do that. I am running v4.1.4 Cheers! M2
