Celebraty Deathmatch comes to mind. Why MTV decided to bring the awful show back to begin with is beyond me, but the viewers were clearly unamused as well.

Actually, the main reason animation was sent abroad was because the budgets for TV shows were vastly smaller than for movie theaters. I recall an interview with William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in which they said a theatrical short had a budget over ten times what a half-hour TV was allotted...

Just stop. Please. People dislike Herbert not because he's unfunny, but because they tend to use him constantly, in just about every episode. When a character is forced on people that much, they tend to grow tired of him. And that's what's happened with Herbert. And yes, you care too much...

What is interesting is that next season is the final one in their current contract. Will they renew beyond 2011 will be interesting to see. It still brings in ratings for Comedy Central, so I'm sure they'll want to bring it back.
