Nah, I think it's because ABC Family was trying to make more room for commercials. I don't see why anything that was cut out before would be offensive, except maybe the burning toys bit which might upset younger children.

Not exactly unique to this show. The idea of Mu, Lemuria, and Atlantis being these advanced civs with lots of high tech (usually based on crystals) has been floating around for a while. Some people actually believe it to be true too, sort of a more human centric version of ancient astronaut...

You know some Nicktoons, the main character has a secret life, power, identity, etc. from the world including his or her parents. Anyone think that could be a bad message for kids? Parents don't have to know everything, but something like super powers, a kid should have the fate in his or her...
