It is pretty smooth for me. There are some slight issues when you have an application set to "always ask" for connection and for some reason the connection isn't available, it goes into a small 2-3 second freeze. Other than that - it works well but I've only installed about 6-7 applications...

Exactly my experience. All my Ovi Suite 2.0, yes, I was using the beta, also crashed when the phone froze. I nearly had a heart attack when that happened but was relieved when the phone booted up fine with the upgrade installed.
