that's very slick how when you're developing an app, the emulator can be switched between symbian 3 or maemo so easily. i guess nokia was serious about how easy it will be to cross platform develop with these tools and Qt!!

I have had metro pcs service before. Where I am at it works fine. So does the sprint service. I am just stuck on which phone has more capabilities.

I think this is right. the name symbian will go into the background and it will become the corporate OS ala Samsung's Bada. It will go into cheap smartphones. The UI will be overhauled over time.
