    h*r.com update: New Answering Machine

I LOVED that. It was nice to see Strong Sad get a sort-of starring role. And Strong Bad getting confused? Bizarre. All the messages were hilarious. Why can't people leave funny messages on MY voice mail?!

    Can Seth Macfarlane Do Drama?

What about Disney's Gargoyles? Or Samurai Jack on Cartoon Network? They both did have some humor, but it still stands. It could also prove the point of many that western cartoons on TV CAN be as serious as Japanese/Eastern Cartoons. Just a nip-tick.

    Examples of sidekick, scene-stealers.

Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible is another one I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned, in season one he was the reason I was even watching the show. He was just so freakin funny. Than season two the series started getting better I'll say, but I wasn't a fan of Kim Possible herself, Ron kept...

Isn't that the Scooby show where they only have the blacks of their eyes like in the old version?

    The Sponge Who Could Fly

Yeah, the writers seem to enjoy showing off Tom's chest hairs. They did it in the episode "Neptune's Spatula" as well. :p

Why are a lot of teen sitcoms about being famous?

Since this topic focuses on live-action series instead of animated series, I'm going to go ahead and move this to the Entertainment section. As for the question at hand, I'm not sure if I would call this the fame age myself. Yes, there are a lot of teen sitcoms involving kids being famous, but...

The Simpsons - "Lisa the Drama Queen" - Talkback [1/25]

I did laugh a good bit when that one bully looked like he was beating up the others as a dragon but in reality they were the ones beating him up.

Sushi Pack is surprisingly good. Gordon Bressack and Tom Ruegger both work on it.

Has the cartoon industry gone more "kid-friendly"?

I don't see what's so "edgy" about that Ren and Stimpy scene, I mean, they're talking animals. Now if Ren had really been doing that to Stimpy with ultra-bloody results, then I'd be surprised. The Sym-Bionic Titan scene didn't really shock me either. I mean, I've seen worse stuff in cartoons...

Toon Zone Talkback - Best Animated Feature of 2009: "Coraline"

I did not see Coraline in 3-D. That said, the opening, as HG said, and when she was going through the tunnel, the Other Father playing the piano, the climax with the hand, and any moment with Wybie's motorcycle felt like I lost something by not seeing Coraline in 3-D.

    Week numbers in Calendar

Week numbers are on the native Palm calendar.....just in the week view. Datebk is the only one I know of that shows them in the month view for easier navigation. I've asked for this in future versions of Agendus but will just have to wait to see if they make it into v11.

    Family Guy - "Brian & Stewie" - Talkback [5/2]

While I guess its true, Peter is the main character. I guess, it'd be like The Simpsons not having Homer in the finale episode. I guess, I always just saw Stewie and Brian as you know mascots of the show as I said before. Just my opinion suppose

    Adult-starring cartoons?

Yeah, it is pretty hard finding cartoons that aren't for adults that don't star kids. Pretty much every show features people 14 or younger. Having older characters does allow the writers to make more risque jokes, like with Johnny Bravo, which I miss. Now every show is about a group of kids...
