I came accross a band recentally and they were using midi temp and it was linked to there moving heads so the lights changed as the song did, the light were not running sound to light they were actually linked some way to the midi file player, anyone know how this is done, any links to websites...

i know there is a common problem with them is it an oil spoiler or something like that ? what other items should i look out for
