IF you have a remote start option, you hit twice, the circular arrow on the remote. Some require that you lock the car first, others lock it automatically once you hit the start button.

I'd take it to a car detailer. They can use very fine sandpaper to remove the red paint, and then polish it back up. There could be permanent damage (scratches) so just be prepared for that.

Does the crossfire have the same harness for both limited and base models? Buying the foglights from the dealer is no issue, but will they plug into a pigtail thats tucked away, and what about the interior knob? Will that have to be swapped out for a foglight one as well?

Yes, so long as you don't damage or drill into the sheetmetal while doing it, you should be fine. I know people who have lifted jeeps, wheeled the hell out of it, taken the lift off, and turned the jeep in and been fine.

VIN works, but also, if the shifter has a 3 position in addition to drive, it is a 4 speed.

Check the ASD relay (auto shut down). Also, check for spark. 99 will still have a distributor, so pull one of the wires going to the spark plug - look up how to do so safely if you are not sure. Did you check for fuel pressure? New pump could still be bad or a wire was damaged on the install...
