    No way around the charge. The phone won't work until customer service activates the ESN of the phone on your existing account. It's only $15, way easier than doing something illegal.

    And to Mrcricket23, Your problem wasnt with the frimware of the phone but a currpted IMAGE file on the phone... Upgrading the BIN and Flashing a new BIN wouldnt have gotten rid of it because lg downloader backs up the images and replaces them back on the phone... The best thing in that...
