I got it off at the back and the housings and all that but how do i get it out of the brake handles? and then how do i put the new cable into the brake handle?

Ya so my friend loosened my v-brakes on my bike the wrong way... and now the little metal bend piece and stuff is all screwed up and some little pieces are missing.... can i fix this myself..... how hard is it and what would it cost at a bike shop to get rear V-brakes installed?

I need to remove the back wheel of my bike to repair it, but the nuts holding the wheel on are very tight. What should i do to remove the nuts? There not rusted, and not overly chewed up.
