    How did soap operas change/ develop due to 1960's pop culture?

    I've got a few points: First, soap operas were intorduced which was a new thing. Over the years, the storylines have become more pronounced. Do you think the 60's had a positive or negative effect in terms of soap operas?? Many thanks in advance.
