    Why is American culture still so paranoid about sex and nudity as compared to Europeans?

    It's called the bible belt. All the religious fanatics have lot's of pull in Washington & the censors in Hollywood. They have more control than we realize. Then too don't forget Europe is much older than the US. We still have growing pains. Less than 50 yrs. from now this will be old news for sure.
